I know Victoria's secret.

Okay. Not really.

But I had a great find that I am in love with right now.
These shirts are in their 'basic essentials' section where you can choose any two for $24. I just happened to get two of the same because I knew I would live in them, but their v-necks are awesome too. These are longer, tunic shirts that slip off the shoulders just a little. And they are SO comfy. Great for layering but they'll also be perfect for when the weather gets nicer. Currently I'm wearing my green one (not pictured)... it's a great color. Slightly on the neon side, it makes me look tan. Which I am never opposed to since most the time I more closely resemble a vampire. Skin pigment wise, that is.

You can find them here if you want to check them out!

Have you had any great clothes finds lately?

Winter + Fashion= ♥

I'm really finding a new found love for fashion, but I just have to admit that I get so much more excited about it in winter. I love layering and chunky scarves and grandma sweaters. Knee high socks and leggings and boots. Ahh I just get happy thinking about it. I also really have the desire to know more. Just about specific designers and being more aware of the industry. Not necessarily for any other reason but my own curiosity.

I've seen a lot of the southwestern and nordic looking prints this season. Some are just not doing it for me, but I'm really feeling this outfit.

Ahh. Big bags and big scarves. Double weakness.

This is fantastic. If anyone knows who makes this, please let me know! I mean, Darth Vader bling? What could be better.

Oversized sweater? Check.

Okay. A? Love me some circle scarves. B? Is her hair rockin, or what? I love it!

What's your favorite thing about winter fashion?
Or are you anti winter all around?

Style crushin.

I came across a new blog I am in love with! It's called Blushing Ambition, and blogger Annabel is just the cutest thing since I don't even know when. I adore her style and envy all the delicious food photos she's always posting. I just can't get over her killer outfits though. Here's some of my favorites.

You should head on over and check out her site to see for yourself!

For your extended date with Jack Frost.

I know everyone is so ready for spring. Well. Besides me. And I've heard a lot of people yearning to wear spring clothing, which is understandable, but I'm still just too in love with layering. Thought I'd give some winter weather wardrobe inspiration to try to last you!

Love this hood.
She just looks so dang cozy.
I'm not big on orange or southwest motifs,
but for some reason I love this.
I want this scarf.

Let's pretend it's 1950.

No really. Besides the whole smiley perfect housewife thing, which I would definitely have to be heavily medicated to achieve any aspect of, I think that women had a class and glamour that is currently few and far between. After looking through old found photographs and vintage Vogue pages, what we now consider glamourous somehow seems cheapened. I don't know if maybe it's because it's less honest or we've gotten the definition turned around somehow, but it's just not the same. I feel like then glamour was more about poise and the essence of the girl, and now it's more about what she's wearing and how expensive it looks. I think back then more women had pride in just being a woman. Not in what we were allowed to do, what rights we had, but just being female. That in itself was something to be confident about, to make you feel empowered. Today women are so busy thinking of all the things they don't like about themselves and pointing out their wrongs that it's no wonder we can't carry ourselves with that kind of confidence and poise. So stop it. Love who you are. Radiate that beauty and you WILL be beautiful. Go be glamourous for god's sake.

Just in case you decide to make the splurge to look the part, Timeless Vixen carries some of the most beautiful vintage dresses in amazing condition. It's really a good thing I literally don't have the money to, or I would be buying out half the store. You know, maybe we should all just go back to wearing clothes this fabulous.
